Noises only seem to get louder when you want to concentrate.

To concentrate means to be fully present to the task you are at. In order to be fully present to a
task, you must pull yourself together.

Ordinarily you have no knowledge where the various faculties of your mind are. It is only when
you have to perform a task that you realize that they are missing. Without the right awareness of
where they are, you begin to indulge in pushing and pulling. As a result you find yourself
unhappy and tired even before you are halfway into it.

Successful completion of any task is vital to your success. An already stressed out person gets
it all mixed up and becomes obsessed with success. It is not different from being followed by a
stalker when a task gets driven by this obsession. This is not the right thing to do. Withdraw the
faculties of your mind from the bundles of emotions where they are buried in, without pushing
and pulling. Fix your mind on the task. Do not let the familiar old patterns overpower you.
Concentration is essential. Do not look at it as a requirement for success, but as a mirror to
yourself.
