The world around you is not still. Be quick to adapt or be left behind

How many of you have not wished the world stood still so that you could catch up! For a few at
least, it is the desire for a perfect moment in the past to last forever that fuels this wish.
The desire for the world to stand still is one of the most destructive thoughts that you can have.
This seemingly innocent wish is filled with ingratitude. Every time you wished for it, you were
asking the existence to leave you behind because the greater vision did not suit your poor
eyesight.

If you prefer your lair to the pastures which you are led to, you will find yourself frequently in
situations that crunch you. To adapt means to honour. Some people have falsely assumed that
to adapt means to go against principles and values. This flawed understanding prevents them
from taking the right decisions in a manner commanded by the situation. Golden opportunities
are missed which makes them look at others with bitterness and a false sense of moral
superiority.

The world is in constant movement. You cannot stop it. You do not have to catch up with it, but
you have to respect the movement and move along. The existence waits for you.
