You are free when you stop dwelling in your past. - Mahagathe

You are free when you stop dwelling in your past.

You are free when you stop dwelling in your past.

शमथ। Samatha

To dwell in your past is to stay in your grave forever. It may feel like fun for a while, but soon you
will begin to miss life. Life is abundant and full of opportunities, but you will fail to notice any of it
if you keep dwelling in the past.

You do not want your past to define you, do you? You should stop defining others by their past.
You should not judge today’s occurrences from your past experiences alone. If you keep on
judging today’s event with yesterday’s lens, you will not notice the changing hues. For example,
you will think that you are told to be positive always when asked not to judge, whereas that is
not the case.

Sometimes you are overly positive about everything, sometimes the opposite of it. As a result, you keep on living with your assumptions. And assumptions have their origin in your past. Are
you the same person you were when you were a kid? Do you behave exactly how you behaved
when you were a little boy or girl? You know the changes, don’t you? Then it won’t be too tough
for you to recognize that everything and everyone around you are different too.

Burn the memories of the past. Do not keep on recreating them in your mind. It is toxic. Let the
past, good or bad, positive or negative, go in peace. You are here now, and abundant life is
waiting for your touch. Live in that freedom.

Feel Blessed
