The sooner you concede the value of the other the sooner you will be celebrated.

शमथ। Samatha
You are taught that the planets revolve around the sun. You want everyone to revolve around
you. Nothing happens to the sun when one planet is no more a planet, but your world is turned
upside down when you are no more at the centre.

Our studies do not show the sun deriving anything from the earth, but there are enough studies
telling us the benefits we derive from our sun. When you want to be at the centre of someone
else’s life, you are turning the table around. In your mind, you are the sun, but your need to be at
the centre of someone else’s life makes you revolve around them.

In reality, the sun is where it has to be and so are the other heavenly bodies. When your mind
does not hold any assumed importance, you will find yourself exist in harmony with others, each
one shining in their own light.

You are a light body, and so are the others. You do not have to impose your light on others.
They will receive, and so should you. No sun is greater than the others; the ecosystem would
have been different. That’s all.
