Opportunities come knocking, but you must know the ones to answer.

In the world of not having all your likes fulfilled, some seem too cruel not to be fulfilled, the talks
about a life full of opportunities may sound cliche. While it is not uncommon to be disappointed,
shaping your worldview based on disappointments does not look very bright.

There are people who believe that this world is a very dark place to be where nothing is fair and
just. If you constantly find yourself overcome by mental fatigue, such a belief lies somewhere in
your psyche. When you believe that, even unconsciously, you feel trapped. What does an
animal do when it is trapped? It gets aggressive. When it is tired of aggression, it gets
defensive. Don’t be too quick to say, “Hey, that’s just not me.”

The world is not filled with darkness or light. It has both, just as in night and day. Light is present
in the night and darkness in the day as evident in the various shades of day and night. Stop
painting life in one colour. Instead of painting life, be natural. Nobody taught you to sleep or to
wake up, did they? Did someone teach you to eat or to walk? All those have come naturally to
you in time, haven’t they? Yes, it is true you have adapted those over the years to suit you, and
have adapted yourself to suit those. And don’t forget there was help too.

Do not stop to adapt; it is nature. When you understand this, you won’t feel trapped anymore.
You will also know not all knocks are to be answered.
