Meditation is not a solution to all your problems, but your gate to total wellness.
Meditation is often thought of as a miracle pill that can keep all your problems at bay. Whether
at bay or not, problems are problems. It is time that you let problems be problems and turn your
attention to yourself.
The very message of meditation is that you are whole. The practice of turning your attention to
the breath or similar movements is to take your mind off the various positive and negative
excitements from the past or the future and be in tune with the wholeness of you.
As you perfect this art, you will notice subtle changes in the way you perceive things around
you. Here too you must not fall for the changed perceptions, but be with the one who perceives
or the one who is experiencing the perception. That is whole.
Once you are comfortably seated in wholeness, we can say that you have entered wellness or
well-being. Anything else is either physical or mental, and hence impermanent.
